Frontend Engineering
Vue, Nuxt and TypeScript interfaces with sensible state, real accessibility and components a team can maintain.
Software Engineer · Oita, Japan
Hello, I'm
Software engineer with 4 years across Nepal and Japan, building full-stack web platforms — Vue & TypeScript on the front, Python and FastAPI behind it, shipped onto AWS. Currently delivering public-sector and enterprise systems for clients across Japan.
I started out in Nepal writing Django and React Native at Prabidhi Labs, then moved to Oita, Japan in 2024 as a contract software engineer. Since then I've delivered 12+ projects for Japanese municipalities and enterprise clients — GIS portals, asset-management platforms, citizen apps and multi-district voucher systems.
Day to day that means Vue, Nuxt and TypeScript on the front end, Python and FastAPI on the back, and deploying the result onto AWS with Terraform and Docker. I care about systems that stay up, stay secure and stay readable for whoever picks them up next.

What I do for clients in Japan — from the component library to the API behind it.
Vue, Nuxt and TypeScript interfaces with sensible state, real accessibility and components a team can maintain.
Python and FastAPI services with typed contracts, tested endpoints and databases modelled to match the domain.
Municipal and government systems built to the compliance rules they ship under — scoped access, encrypted data, audited change.
Playwright end-to-end suites and Pytest coverage, so releases are verified rather than hoped for.
Getting the application onto AWS and keeping it running — EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, RDS and S3, provisioned with Terraform and Docker.
Native iOS work in Objective-C and cross-platform builds in React Native, wired to the REST APIs behind them.
What I build with day to day, and how I approach a project.
Services I've worked with on client projects.
I treat these as tools, not shortcuts — they speed up work I already understand, and every line still gets reviewed before it ships.

Multi-tenant digital gift voucher (商品券) platform spanning several regional municipalities, securing high-volume ledger transactions with managed cryptographic keys.

A live community site for Nepalis living in Oita and Beppu — events, notices and local guidance, with the data layer written as PostgreSQL procedures rather than pushed into the app.
Live site SourceMy own blog on Django, where I write up what I'm learning. Build and deploy steps are wrapped in a Makefile so publishing a post is a single command.
Live site SourceThe site you're reading. No framework and no build step — hand-written HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript, with every animation done in the browser rather than pulled from a library.

Where I learned to build properly — HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, then JavaScript, React Native, Python and Django. Contributed to client projects as a junior Python developer and shipped my first REST APIs, mobile apps and blog platforms.

Five-year engineering degree covering software engineering, algorithms, databases and networks — the groundwork I built the rest of this on.
